About Us
Our Journey Rooted in Nature
Over the years, the growing appreciation for nature has brought more greenery into our homes and workplaces. We were part of this movement from the beginning—offering indoor plant solutions and decorative services tailored to a variety of living and working spaces. For three years, we ran our physical shop in Beşiktaş, Istanbul, helping people transform their environments with plants, combining aesthetics with functionality. From initial planning to plant selection and setup, we also provided maintenance services to ensure long-term care and healthy growth.
Plantanica: Your Everyday Plant Guide
Today, we continue our journey under a new name—Plantanica. Formerly known as Terraqua Design, we’ve evolved into a blog platform focused on plant care, indoor gardening, and nature-inspired content. You’ll find practical tips, curated lists of movies and documentaries, and insights into topics like mineral stones and natural lifestyle habits. While we no longer offer direct plant services, we’re here to share what we’ve learned and to support your journey with plants and green living. Feel free to explore our blog, and don’t hesitate to reach out with your questions at info@plantanica.com or through our contact form.Plants are the ultimate alchemists — turning sunlight into life, time into structure, and silence into resilience.

Why Plants Matter
The Essential Role of Green Life on Earth
Discover how plants impact our health, environment, and everyday lives in ways we often overlook.

Plants Produce the Oxygen We Breathe
Through photosynthesis, plants convert carbon dioxide into oxygen, making the air breathable for humans and animals. Without them, life on Earth as we know it wouldn’t be possible.

Plants Support Mental Health and Well-Being
Studies show that being around greenery can reduce stress, improve mood, and increase focus. Indoor plants bring a sense of calm to living and working spaces, promoting emotional balance.

Plants Are Key to a Healthy Environment
They clean the air by filtering toxins, regulate humidity, and prevent soil erosion. Plants also help cool the planet by absorbing CO₂ and providing shade in urban areas.
